DAY 7: My Day with Rick Bayless

Okay, I didn’t get to actually spend a day with the Top Chef Master himself, but I bonded with his cookbook and made his recipe for Enchiladas Suiza (read THE RETROMODERNS for more details on my culinary adventure).  The best part was sharing this adventure with friends, I’m go glad for my friends – they mean the world to me.  I worked very hard on this recipe and while it wasn’t perfect, it was really delicious.

I did discover why I’m probably fat…I love fatty foods.  Soooooo much.  When I took the rotisserie chicken out of the rotisserie, I loved the crispy skin – it was just delicious.  So bad, but oh so good.  I worked more on my German and unfortunately had a midnight snack that I think lead me to getting very sick in the evening. Great day that ended on a sour stomach note.  Boo!
