I am embarking on a 365 day journey of losing and hopefully gaining.
WHAT I HOPE TO LOSE: 101 pounds in the next year; my fears of success/failure; my clutter-problems and overspending issues. To do this, I'm going to attempt to follow the rules of Weight Watchers exactly each week Monday - Friday. I also intend to work-out for at least 1 hour each day, Monday - Saturday. WHAT I HOPE TO GAIN: Well, other than better health overall, I am going to do 3 specific things to improve my life in general. I will learn to be more culinarily adventurous by taking cooking classes and trying new recipes every weekend; I will learn to speak German as my father is a native-born and I would like to speak with him in his own/first language before it's too late; and I hope to regain my place as a dancer, take lessons and perform in a recital at the end of the season.
Look, it's a steep hill but only I can affect my life and my destiny so that's the plan. I hope you'll join me on the journey.

I only wear black pants, and if I'm not wearing black pants, I'm wearing skirts. Black is slimming and it goes with everything...it is universal. This means, I do not own even 1 pair of jeans. Shocking I know...but it makes "dress down day" no fun for me.
I am predominantly fond of wearing Mary Janes. I think it comes from my years as a tap dancer, but I don't know. I've considered calling this blog, "Anna 101: A Life in Black Pants and Mary Janes". You see what won out.
I watch movies over and over again, not only because I love movies but I use them to keep me company sometimes as I work or do other random things.
